Madalena is a member of the firm's Criminal, Misdemeanour and Compliance team.

Since she began her career, Madalena's career path has been primarily focused on criminal law and administrative offences. She has continuously acquired knowledge in these matters through technical and soft skills training, which complements her work as a lawyer.

Madalena works in legal consultancy and dispute resolution. In this context, she has had the opportunity to intervene in highly complex media criminal cases (‘BES Case’, ‘Rui Pinto Case’, among others), and to collaborate frequently in administrative offence cases, in matters of competition law, online gambling and health advertising practices.

Throughout her career, she has provided services to individuals and legal entities, both private and public, and from different sectors of activity - such as energy, health, private security, online gambling, telecommunications and banking - and has represented her clients before the courts, judicial authorities and administrative authorities.

Besides her litigation experience, Madalena has been active in compliance matters, aimed at preventing corruption, providing legal advice and counselling in this area to companies in various sectors of activity.

Before joining the MFA team, Madalena began her career as a trainee and later as an associate at Vieira de Almeida e Associados (from 2019 to 2024).
